Counseling and Consulting Services

The Ohio State University’s Counseling and Consulting Services aims to promote the well-being and academic success of students through access to diverse mental health services and outreach. They offer individual and group mental health services, psychoeducational prevention and outreach programming to currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate and professional students. CCS are also available to work with spouses/partners of students who are covered by the Comprehensive Student Health Insurance.

Students are welcome to seek out Confidential counseling appointments. These individual counseling sessions are conducted through Zoom are available to all current Ohio State students. To request an appointment, students will first need to schedule a phone screening appointment

Additionally, CCS offers “Let’s Talk” – a brief and confidential consultation with a CCS clinician. This program offers one-on-one, 15 to 20-minute informal mental health consultation with a CCS staff member.
