Connecting with Disability Services

Student Life Disability Services (SLDS) collaborates with and empowers students who have disabilities in order to coordinate support services and programs that enable equal access to an education and university life.

Students can access services by visiting the SLDS website and connecting with the CFAES Access Specialist, Madalyn Lyons.

As an Ohio State student with a disability, you can register with Disability Services to be approved for accommodations. Accommodations are designed to eliminate disability-related barriers in the environment and curriculum so that you have an equal opportunity for success. Student accomodations include:

  • Exam accommodations
  • Notetaking support
  • Attendance and deadline modifications
  • Assistive technology
  • Sign language interpretation
