Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences

MANRRS is an Equity and Inclusion organization that welcomes all students (undergraduate and graduate students).


Goals of the organization

  1. Develop leaders in agricultural and environmental sciences

  2. Encourage academic achievement and excellence

  3. Increase the number of under-represented students studying in agricultural and environmental sciences

  4. Aid in placement into related professions


Meetings are on the last  Monday of the month 5:30 – 6:30 pm 


Meetings feature skill-building, socials, alumni engagement & professional development

Chapter Highlights

  • Ohio State attends + participates in annual Midwest meetings in the Autumn semester

  • Attend National Conferences across the USA in the Spring semester

  • Compete in competitions, and contests to earn individual awards, cash awards, and chapter recognition (Areas include: Elevator pitch, Impromptu Speaking, Essay writing, Presenting Research, Debate, Poster Contests, and Public speaking)
