Supporting Students from Regions Impacted by Adverse Events

Faculty and staff are encouraged to be sensitive to students who may be experiencing stress and anxiety over loved ones in regions impacted by recent natural disasters and the coronavirus outbreak. Please remind all of your students that support services are available through Counseling and Consultation Service (614-292-5766, and the Student Advocacy Center

For those administering summer programs, graduate and professional admissions, and scholarships/fellowships, please be aware that students from Puerto Rico may be experiencing challenges as a result of the recent earthquakes. Some students may require flexibility with deadlines, fees or alternative accommodations. The Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions encourages Puerto Rican applicants to apply for Application Fee Waivers via the BTAA Free App program.
